Plugin Sentinel
-
Hi! I don’t want the ‘plugin sentinal’ appearing in bright red in the admin menu bar. It’s undocumented and I can’t seem to override its css to at least make its background black. There are no settings to turn it off.
Thanks. The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi,
First, regarding your note about documentation:
This feature is not undocumented. Detailed information is available on the plugin’s official WordPress page, under the “Details” tab, in the section titled “Advanced Site Health.”
WordPress has done an excellent job with the core Site Health feature, providing a strong baseline for your site’s well-being. However, true site health and operational integrity require checks specific to individual components, a practice encouraged by the WordPress Core Health Check handbook itself. Our plugin seamlessly extends this core functionality, taking on the developer’s responsibility to complete the necessary checks for the optimal performance and security of its respective features. This allows us to provide a truly holistic analysis that ensures your site is genuinely fast, stable, and secure, even when the core score is perfect.
Our enhanced checks focus on four critical areas: Performance & Memory Analysis, Proactive Error and issues Detection, Server hardware and configuration and Modern Security Monitoring.
If your Site Health status bar is currently red, it indicates that errors, warning, settings or performance issues have occurred within the last 48 hours, directly impacting your site and plugin performance. By examining the detailed reports, you will gain full knowledge of these problems and can take the necessary steps to resolve them. You will find free 24/7 instant AI support chat that will help you understand and provide suggestions.
Resolving these problems will restore the bar to a non-red status.
I am seeing errors in your JavaScript console; these errors need to be investigated. To discuss specific details of any identified issues, please visit our dedicated support website to keep them private.

Nothing’s documented within the WP installation in site health tools (ie it doesn’t behave like normal plugins in this respect) or on your plugin. Your plugin has installed this in the menu bar so please give an option to remove it.
I can see this data. Please inform me if any part of our explanation is unclear so I can enhance it. Please check the link below for more details.
WordPress’s built-in Site Health feature provides a great baseline for your site’s well-being. However, in today’s digital landscape, true “health” goes beyond server configuration. A site can have a perfect score and still be slow, vulnerable, or plagued by critical errors. Our plugin extends the core Site Health concept to provide a truly holistic analysis of what keeps your site fast, stable, and secure. We don’t just check the basics; we diagnose critical issues that directly impact your visitors’ experience and your site’s operational integrity.
Our enhanced checks include:Performance & Memory Analysis, Proactive Error Detection, Modern Security Monitoring.
That involves querying public, authoritative services like rdap.db.ripe.net with visitor IP addresses for security analysis.

You see that your console has errors? This is serious. Your website’s proper functioning is compromised. Use the free tools I mentioned to help you find the cause and eliminate it. If your car’s dashboard says the engine is too hot, what do you do? Do you turn off the thermometer or find out why it’s too hot?
I can use ‘Health Check’ quite well on its own, and I do use it. I don’t need an intrusive admin bar menu item to acheive that. It should not be there and I don’t want it there.
As I explained above, your site has serious errors in the console and perhaps others, and the toolbar will remain red until they are resolved.
If you want to modify the toolbar, there are excellent plugins available that allow you to customize the admin toolbar, move it around, and even hide it.
You can do this in just a few seconds. Just run a search on WordPress plugins page. (look for admin toolbar)
To keep things organized, we’ll mark this item as resolved. But feel free to write here if you need more information or want to comment on something.
Thank you for using our plugin. -
