    Hi @kingsleymaduka,

If the plugin is not offloading images, this is most likely an issue with the API token. Please have a look at this guide that explains how to activate Cloudflare Images and create a correct token: https://vcore.au/tutorials/how-to-setup-cloudflare-images-plugin/

Thank you so much Aton, your guide was very helpful. but then this is the issue i am still facing:
Once i upload any image with admin account it offloads automatically to the cloudflare image side on the cloud. but once any of my site users upload any image using their non ADMIN account it does not upload automatically. Please tell me how to resolve this issue.

Also is there a way to hide the WP PATH for non ADMIN users (https://xyz.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/beaut11.jpg)

    Thank you so much Aton!

    Hi @kingsleymaduka,

I can definitely adjust the permissions. It does make sense to allow this to everyone who can upload images.

For the WP PATH request. Could you please give a bit more details?

    Best regards,
    Anton

Please i really need your help with the permission adjustment.

here is what i mean by WP PATH: when a user uploads a new image on a wordpress website, the Link shows that the image is going to the wordpress website.com/wp-content /upload, etc
here is an image of the issue for reference: https://ibb.co/d0mhZB2g
if that link breadcrumb can be changed in such a way that users will not identify my site as a wordpress site that will be nice for added protection.

    Thank you Anton

The permissions are already adjusted for the next release. You can make the adjustments manually, here’s a reference of changes: https://github.com/av3nger/cf-images/commit/ad5bbfb5a5250bf9ebb7a67d087bc22039803c03

For the path. Unfortunately, you can’t change that. The backend still requires local images. Otherwise you get locked into Cloudflare and will never be able to revert. If this is something you are fine with and understand the implications, you can enable “full offload” in experimental settings. I strongly advise against it, though.

There has not been any release any update / release on the plugin as promised, this is one month and week since i made this complain.
About the manual adjustment in Github, i don’t understand how i am suppossed to make use of it.

    Hi @kingsleymaduka,

This has been released in 1.9.5 about a month ago. Is this still not working for you?

    Hi Anton, any update?

    (@vanyukov)

    Hi @kingsleymaduka,

Currently, there’s a limit to how uploads are handled. If users are uploading from a front-facing page (not wp-admin), even with correct permissions the upload will not work. I’m currently working on a way to make it work. However, the way that it is currently built doesn’t give an easy way to adjust this. So it will take some time to refactor. I’ll update the thread once I have more info.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    Hi @kingsleymaduka,

I’ve uploaded a beta version that should allow uploading from front-end. Could you please test: https://github.com/av3nger/cf-images/releases/tag/1.9.6-beta.1
