Hi birous,
“I coudn’t manage to follow the discussion in this thread”
No worries, we couldn’t either 🙂Can you tell me
1:your WooCommerce version,
2:Your shipping set up with all the settingsAlso , is the country and state/county picked when you enter a zip code?
1. WooComerce 2.6.8
2.
General Options
Base Location – Brazil-Sao Paulo
Selling Location(s) – Sell to All Countries
Shipping Location(s) – Disable shipping & shipping calculations
Default Customer Location – Geolocation> Also, is the country and state/county picked when you enter a zip code?
I have a plugin to pick it up automatically on entering the zip code, but it isn’t happening. The country is already set from settings, the state list is from Brazil but, on entering the zip code, address is not being autocompletedThe error code is below
PLEASE ENTER A VALID POSTCODE/ZIP.
STATE IS NOT VALID. PLEASE ENTER ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: ALABAMA, ALASKA, ARIZONA, ARKANSAS, CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, HAWAII, IDAHO, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, KANSAS, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, MAINE, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSISSIPPI, MISSOURI, MONTANA, NEBRASKA, NEVADA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW MEXICO, NEW YORK, NORTH CAROLINA, NORTH DAKOTA, OHIO, OKLAHOMA, OREGON, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA, SOUTH DAKOTA, TENNESSEE, TEXAS, UTAH, VERMONT, VIRGINIA, WASHINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA, WISCONSIN, WYOMING, ARMED FORCES (AA), ARMED FORCES (AE), ARMED FORCES (AP)
Billing Details“I have a plugin to pick it up automatically on entering the zip code”
Please disable that plugin and test manually. If it works then there is something going on between two plugins. Also, that plugin might be built to handle WooCommerce checkout. Are you having this problem on WooCommerce checkout or on submitting the “request for quote” in the Request page.-

Neah Plugins.
Disabled the plugin auto-completion plugin and the error continues.
Disabled RQF and the error is gone. Besides, auto-completion does work.
The site doesn’t sell any products. RQF fits like a (golden) glove in this sense 🙂
Ok. If you go to checkout and do it manually does it work? if you pick US and then the state and enter zip code. does it work then?
I duplicated the error finally. let me see what we can do
It should be fixed in 1.7.981. let me know how it goes.
Installed version 1.7.981
The error for ZIP is gone… if I disable the auto-completion plugin
I could tell you what plugin I’m using to auto-complete address from ZIP, so you could see the effects for yourself…
It can be useful… when I reach to the checkout page, the country field is yet completed, as for state and ZIP codes and I get the ZIP error… so I “change” the country (I just choose Brazil again in the field) and it works as if it was filled for the first time… and the error doesnt shows up
I just upgraded 1.7.981 again. no upgrade notice. delete your copy and download again with the new change. this might do the trick.
you can update to 1.7.982 . it is fixed there and should not interfere with the other plugin
Sorry for the delay.
Updated the plugin, but the error continues. I think I could identify the error pattern.
If I DON’T CHANGE COUNTRY manually (this field comes checked automatically), the zip error shows up and the adress don’t updates based in ZIP.
Dear friends, I’ve installed the Woo-RFQ for WooCommerce version 1.7.985 with Woocommerce version 2.6.11.
Your plugin is perfect for my purpose that is just to shoew the products without prices and the costumer ask for a quote.
Everything is going well, except for the “zip postcode issue”.
I’m using all with RFQ;
the country selected is opnly Brazil;
without include shipping costs;
and the zip code is placed manually.When I disable the plugin, the purchase is compelted normally and the zipcode (CEP in Brazil) is accepted normally.
Could you help me in this issue?
