@stephenkrem This plugin only supports one active location at a time – any additional locations added will be set as the default and regular updates performed on these, but the other locations will remain unchanged.
You will be able to select specific locations by their place_id, but the reviews and data associated with this will remain static (unless you switch between them manually).
The place_id parameter in the shortcode just allows you to select from each set of reviews – it just reflects what’s in the catalogue and doesn’t initiate further data collection through the Places API.
If you want to compare the retrieved data with your current reviews, go to this tab in the settings. Only the most relevant reviews are returned, not necessarily the most recent.
I am planning to release a premium multiple location version of this plugin if there’s a demand. Drop me an email at wordpress dash plugins at designextreme dot com.
I hope this answers your question.
@designextreme thank you.
Is there any way we can refresh this manually for now?
Thanks.
@stephenkrem Yes, sure – occasionally, switch between your two locations and Save in the plugin’s settings | Setup. This will manually collect new reviews, totals and information using the Places API.
I also recommend setting each place, then populating the back catalogue of reviews using HTML Import.
If you drop me an email, I will notify you when the multiple location version is available as this will be fully automated.
It works by switching location IDs. I sent you an email to notify me when you release multiple location version.
Thanks.
