PHP Deprecated

    I’m getting the following deprecated notices in my debug log. Would love to see this resolved as it’s cluttering up my debug logs. This line is appearing in the log on every page load.

    [27-Jul-2020 19:56:24 UTC] PHP Deprecated:  Function create_function() is deprecated in /Users/.../.../.../wp-content/plugins/real-media-library/inc/others/AdvertHandler.class.php on line 180

    I’m actually running the pro version of the plugin.

    It seems you are using a very old version of RML. Can you please download the latest version from your CodeCanyon account? What version of RML are you currently using?

    Hi Matthias – I’ll install the latest version and see if the issue persists. Usually I update plugins using the auto-update links from the Plugins screen so I wasn’t aware there was a newer version.

    What is the correct way to go about installing a new version of the plugin? I tried to download and install the new one but it failed because the destination folder /real-media-library/ already exists. I’ll try deleting the previous version of the plugin from the site, just wondering what method you recommend for upgrades?

    Hi @kisabelle !

    Unfortunately for RML versions < 4.1 there is not auto-update available yet. The new versions are able to provide an automatic update.

    I recommend deactivating and deinstall the old version, and upload the new one. Your folders will stay.
