PHP Fatal error: Cannot use $this as parameter in /chassis/content/themes/adney/inc/extras.php on line 153

I know this was mentioned before but it wasn’t addressed. When moving a site to GoDaddy I discovered I had to drop the PHP version from 7.1 to 5.6 to get that $this error to go away and for wpadmin and the site to load without pushing a 500 error. I realize 7.1 isn’t the majority yet but please get this amazing theme updated so it works properly on 7.1! Thank you!

We check it out and if issue are there and our theme was not support PHP version 7.1 then we are adding this to our TO DO list.our developer team will add this in future release.

Any word on this? $this is not allowed (and generally hasn’t been), but wasn’t enforced until PHP 7.1: http://php.net/manual/en/migration71.other-changes.php

It is also causing the theme preview on wordpress.org to fatal.
