    I’m having an issue with permalinks. When I change from plain to post name, I get the error below, where the 404 custom page does not even appear. The homepage works fine, any other links do not.

    The error I get is: Not Found
    The requested URL was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server Port 80

    I’ve checked the settings for the .htaccess page, which is set to read/write. I compared .htaccess to other site files, and it is the same. Renaming htaccess and resaving allows the new htaccess file to be created, so that’s not the problem. Disabling all plugins did not work.
