Password reset email issue

    UM is nicely sending out emails for registration of new members but the password reset emails are not sent.
    In Settings/E-Mail the password rest email is activated and seems to be ok so far. I have tried to de-activate this and activate again but with no effect.

    Any ideas?

    Please try to install and set up an SMTP plugin and see if the issue goes away.

    Great – this works! Thank you!

    Now, after input of the new password, the change is rejected with a message saying it’s not possible for security reasons. (in this German installation it says “Aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht möglich.”)
