Pagination breaks when saving advanced query loop

    I notice perhaps after a plugin update or wordpress update the advanced query look pagination breaks after making any change to the blocks settings. For example it worked fine, and then I changed the number of posts to show from 12 to 8. Now the pagination doesn’t show at all. I confirmed this on two sites.

    I almost wonder if this could be due to a setting that used to be in the advanced query loop which has now disappeared. There used to be a setting on whether or not to have pagination included in the block settings I am almost 100% sure (right?); it seems to be gone now in latest update? This was an important feature for us as some sites we maybe just wanted to show the first 3, and didnt want pagination and this setting enabled this.

    There is another post I just saw in the support area that mentioned there pagination broke so there is definitly an issue here. I am not sure 100% what I can provide to help you debug, but let me know if anything I can do. I will try in the “Live Plugin Test” to see if I can replicate it and report back

    Hi @jptweb! Thanks for using AQL and opening up this topic.

    You are correct, there was a release that removed the control in favor of automatically enabling/disabling pagination based on the existence of the Pagination block being inside the template being used by AQL. If you remove that block, there will be no pagination displayed on the front end.

    Hi @jptweb – I wanted to follow up on this as I recently reinstated the toggle control. Can you update the plugin and let me know if the issue you’re seeing persists?
