• Hi there!

I have a serious issue with Pagelayer on my live WordPress site (https://experiencenewbrunswick.com) where the editor won’t load.

    I get this error:

Fatal error within the Pagelayer iFrame as pagelayer object not found.

In the console, the failing request is:

    /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=pagelayer_editor_ajax
    → 500 (Internal Server Error)

My host confirmed that permissions are correct, but my error log shows:

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted

    I’ve tried:

    • Reinstalling Pagelayer
    • Clearing cache
    • Increasing memory limit to 512M in wp-config.php
    • Disabling other plugins
    • Using default theme (not yet, but I want to avoid that if possible)

Could someone please help me identify if this is a bug with Pagelayer or a deeper server conflict. I have over 700 pages built in Pagelayer and cannot edit any of them.

    Hi @digitalintoronto ,

We convert the above mentioned bytes to MB and get the results 134 MB so please increase the memory limit upto 512 MB or 1 GB with the MultiPHP INI Editor and check again.

If the problem continues, please don’t hesitate to contact Pagelayer support team for further assistance.

    Regards,
    Pagelayer Team

That doesn’t make any sense to me.
