Hello. We are looking to replace our existing ticket system. We have a buddypress members site. What we need is a system that can support:

    1. registered members can raise tickets on a private helpdesk page
    2. tickets are routed on a department or team basis
    3. all agents are also registered members of the site
    4. agents can be members of more than one department or team
    5. it is possible for visitors to fill a public ‘contact us’ form which creates a ticket (i.e. guest ticket creation)
    6. new tickets contain buddpress profile field data of the registered member who raised the ticket (in our case this is door number, postcode, owner/tenant)
    7. PHP7 or better

    Thanks!

    Hi:

Awesome Support can do most of what you need but you’ll need a couple of premium add-ons for some functions (#2, #4 and #5).

However, we don’t have an integration with BuddyPress nor have we tested with BuddyPress ourselves. You might want to just install the free version to make sure it works in your install and then figure out how to get the buddy press data to show up on the USER PROFILE sidebar that we have in our tickets.

    Thanks.

Thank you for the quick response. Understand that our BP profile fields in tickets is quite unique – does your plugin provide any API/Hooks to enable custom code?

Which specific add-ons do you recommend for #2, #4 & #5 and how much do they cost?

Also can we import tickets from an old ticket system – ours is osTicket

    Thanks again

    Hi:

We don’t have any pre-built functions to import tickets from osTicket. We do have importers for Zendesk, Helpscout and Ticksy.

Yes, there are doaction hooks that you can use to add fields/display data in the USER PROFILE sidebar on our tickets.

Unfortunately, WordPress.org does not like us discussing premium add-ons on this site. They prefer that the forums be used only to discuss the free plugin. So can you send an email to contact@getawesomesupport.com and we’ll provide information about the premium add-ons you’ll need.

    Thanks.
