Optimize Firewall

    I switched my site to ScalaHosting recently. Today I installed your plugin and when I got to optimize the firewall I get this error: The requested URL was not found on this server.

    What needs to be done so that I can optimize the firewall?

    Hi @bartmissions,

    Thank you for reaching out! Please ask your host to check for any false positives in ModSecurity. The ModSecurity server firewall rule (Atomicorp’s ID 390149) has been noted for disallowing access to some of our plugin’s admin pages. Disabling any rules hitting false positives for Wordfence would be the better option, rather than disabling ModSecurity altogether, if possible.

    Thank. I will contact ScalaHosting to see what they say. Hopefully they will be able to fix it so I can use the Security Lock feature for sites I have.

    Hi @bartmissions,

    Thanks, please let me know how it goes! If the issue is related to ModSecurity, they can typically disable just the one rule causing the false positive, so you’ll still be able to take advantage of any security features they offer.
