    Your product description says that it can be used to clear out redundant tables… but when I look at that tab, it is greyed out – I can see the tables but do nothing with them. Is this in the premium version or is there something I need to do to access this. I can see redundant tables there, not removed by previous plugins, which I would like to remove. properly.

    You should be able to delete any tables that are not being used by a plugin: https://snipboard.io/23NfcW.jpg. Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing?

    Thank you, these for instance – not using smart sliders, that was just exploration – and there is nothing in those tables, but I can’t see any way your plugin will remove them… Am I missing something really obvious?

    It sounds like the plugin is not identifying them as unused.

    Is smart slider a free plugin, if so can you post the URL of where I can download the plugin? If it is a Premium plugin, would you be able to do a backup of your plugins with UpdraftPlus and put it on some remote storage or We transfer so I can download it and do some testing.

    Thanks… also, maybe it’s me, but I was expecting your plugin to flag up DB tables that were orphaned etc… there’s so much residue from badly designed plugins…

    Thank you, I will do some testing and get back to you (I suspect it’s not something you are doing though). Your expectation is correct, the plugin should detect that smartslider is no longer active and provide an option to delete the tables.

    Can you try reinstalling the plugin and then deactivating it and then see the tables are still being flagged as unused?

    Ah ok – I didn’t get that at all… problem is I have deleted those tables in phpmyadmin now… but if it helps, I will reinstall that plugin and see what happens? Do you want me to do that?

    Hi, I reinstalled Smart Slider plugin, activated, deactivated & then ran optimiser – and guess what, the tables persisted!
