Update. I deactivated the VC version of your plugin and then installed your regular Image Caption Hover Effects plugin, which provided a settings menu with touch screen set up. I selected the 1st tap hover, 2nd tap navigate option and saved it. I placed the shortcode in a Visual Composer text box. Things look great on desktop, but there is no hover and no navigate working on touch screen.
Can you please help. Thank you.

Hi Earl, can you please provide me URL to have a look?

I did at bottom of previous, but happy to do so… http://03f999e.netsolhost.com/devsite/
Thanks!
Rameez,
Sorry, but I just realized that you were probably asking where you’d find my usage of your plugin. It is on the page I have provided, but I have only been testing your plugin on one specific image. Please scroll to the very bottom of that page where you’ll see an image of men watching TV (same image appears at top of page, but ignore that). Only the image just above the footer uses your plugin. Sorry for not being clear about that.
Earl
Rameez,
Okay… some more info. I have previously tested on android and apple ios phones get no results from multiple attempts. However, I just tested it on an android tablet and about 1 our of 10 attempts works to get hover effect and navigation.
Thought this may help narrow things down a little.

Hi Earl, I have tested in detail and found that there are some layout issues in your site. Please paste the shortcode in any new page and it will work in all devices. Your footer section overlaps with some other divs thus hover is not triggered.

Rameez,
Thanks for your help. I have moved the plugin test to the same image of guys watching TV in the top row, left column, far away from the footer. That seems to make it work marginally better on my android phone and tablet.
However, now a short single click does not get a response on phone, but does on tablet– it shows the hover, then proceeds immediately to navigate to link. And if on the phone I hold the click longer for a couple seconds (which no visitor will know to do), I can often get the hover to appear on phone– though not always. Often, holding the click longer just navigates me to the link. Also, after getting no response, I try again and it navigates to the link… that’s even after waiting 5-10 seconds after the first non-responding click.
Of course I don’t know how your plugin is constructed, but it seems like a touch sensitivity issue. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity?
Again, I would appreciate your help. Thank you.
Earl
