Not Detecting Broken Anchor Link

    Hello, please, the broken link checker does not detect broken anchor links.

    One of the features: ‘Search and filter links by URL, anchor text and more.’, says it does. However, I cannot get the plugin to detect broken anchor – links with # tags to non-existing HTML anchor

    The non-existence might be as a result of changes in the HTML anchor of the intended HTML element, or mistakes while trying to do the internal linking.

    Hi @somto,

    Search and filter links by URL, anchor text and more

    In the plugin context, the above refers to the Search feature.

    You can search and filter based on URL, anchor text etc ie for the broken links listed under Link Checker > Local > Broken Links

    I’m afraid, there isn’t any way to determine whether an anchor text is working or not, as the texts are added within the HTML side and what BLC plugin works and checks are for broken URLs and both are different instances.
