Not compatible with Breakdance Builder

    Breakdance builder has a few default assets files that sized 0kb (basically empty) but required for the performance features to work, in order to regenerate the optimized assets. But this backup plugin does not include any zero kb file (empty file) by default, so a simple site backup will just breaks when restored.

    Can you make it to include 0kb files (empty files) by default during a standard backup procedures? or is there any settings to include these kind of files? (i could not find such settings)..

    As the BreakDance plugin is paid and does not seem popular we couldn’t get access to that plugin version which most likely conflicts with our plugin.

    As the third party plugins is based outside WordPress.org there is high chance that it does not follow WordPress Plugin Guidelines which may overall be unstable and against common conventions.

    If you can provide us source website at https://tastewp.com where we can replicate the issue, we can attempt to resolve the issue, otherwise based on above assumptions, we can’t provide support for this plugin.

    If you create testing environment for us at TasteWP, simply provide an URL to the website, it will be enough.

    Hey @archonic08 ,

    We inspected the issue you reported. It comes down to the uncommon behavior of the Breakdance plugin, which is not automatically re-creating the missing 0-byte files…

    We made a patch to bypass this. Download the latest beta version here and give it a try. It worked in our tests with the Breakdance. After restoration/migration, please manually activate the Breakdance plugin.
