same problem for me as well. reported it on the plugin’s website as well – no answer.
Recent release did not include any changes related to the way the counting is handle – there must be a different reason for this.
As you’re using JS method please check for any javascript errors on your site.

I don’t see a plugin AJAX request.
But there’s a JS issue that could be responsible:
TypeError: $(…).offset(…) is undefined 1 telefoane-mobile:1072:14
I have several websites facing the same problem after the update, so this is update related for sure. After the plugin asked for a database upgrade, no views is counting.
so, this seems to be a database problem after upgrading it as asked by your plugin.

I’m using WP Super Cache, and minify with Autoptimize, if it matters
if using autoptimize & if there are JS errors on the browser console, you might have to do some troubleshooting as described in AO’s FAQ?
