    Based on description of the possible attack you just need to disable XML-RPC. You can do it on the Hardening tab. In the next version of WP Cerber an additional protection layer will be implemented. An update will be available next week.

    To ensure that there are no malicious media files on the website just run malware scanner in the full scan mode.
