Hi @samysalahgad
Thank you for reaching out to us and sorry for the inconvenience.
When you regenerate thumbnails in ThumbPress, the behavior will depend on the settings and configuration you have chosen in the Disable Thumbnails module. If the previous process (22% progress) of thumbnail regeneration was saved, the regenerating process typically won’t delete them and will continue regenerating thumbnails for the remaining images according to your settings, ignoring the ones already processed. If they were not saved, ThumbPress will regenerate them from the beginning according to your settings in the Disable Thumbnails module.
We recommend double-checking your ThumbPress settings under the “Disable Thumbnails” section to confirm which image sizes you want to keep and which you want to remove. After that, you can regenerate your thumbnails using the “Regenerate Thumbnails” feature.
Additionally, we’d like to inform you that we have just released ThumbPress version 5.7.3. This update includes performance improvements to optimize the thumbnail generation process. We highly recommend updating to the latest version to ensure you get the best experience and any bug fixes.
If you need any further clarification, feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to assist!
Thank you!
Best regards,
Nazifa Bhuiyan
In this case I mean the same enabled size, disabled ones not regenerated
I talk here about the enabled size
Hi @samysalahgad
If you restart the thumbnail regeneration process in ThumbPress, it will continue where it left off and generate thumbnails only for the sizes that are enabled. Thumbnails that have already been created for those sizes will not be deleted or regenerated. The process will bypass the existing thumbnails and generate new ones only for the images that haven’t yet been processed.
Make sure to verify your settings to ensure you’ve enabled the correct sizes before starting the regeneration process again.
