native emoji support

    I guess this one slipped past me, but I thought I remember WP supporting emojis in Settings → Writing with the following option:

    Convert emoticons like 🙂 and 😛 to graphics on display.

    Is this not a thing anymore? Anyone know how I can get the option back (without a plugin)
