There currently is a PullRequest[1] in the GitHub-Repository that introduces multisite-Support. Perhaps you might want to check that and see whether it fits your needs. I‘m perfectly happy to adapt that to your special needs!

Thank you for your reply. I looked through the PullRequest and had a few questions. Has multi-site support been fully integrated yet? Is that what the October 28th update states? Are there any other changes or issues we should be aware of, or is simply ready to go for multisite activation as it is?

The multisite is by now implemented in Version 2.0 of the plugin. It allows you to use one configuration for all sites. So currently it’s not possible to have different configurations for different sites within the multisite-installation. That is currently “in the pipeline” but no release date has yet been scheduled.
But take care! When you are already using the plugin the current configuration will be replaced with the Multisite-Configuration! I’m currently working on a fix for that but it’s harder than at first sight thought. So you should test an update in a test-installation!
I was just checking on the multi-site support for authLdap. We had tried a different LDAP Authorizer and found that it had issues with our multi-site setup.
