I understand that the plugin does not support multiple languages, and more in particular WPML. (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multiple-language-support-and-custom-fields-question/)

However, I could see a way forward with the Conditional Notifications premium add-on if only it could track the page URL and could work with a “contains” operator. A segment of the URL (such as /fr/ or /de/) indicates the language of the page. Different notifications could then be set up on the basis of that condition.

Is my impression correct that the add-on cannot be used for that?
If so, is there another way to solve this issue?

    Thanks.

    Hi @mmgh,
    Thanks for your message.

There isn’t way to solve this at the moment except for grouping users with a specific language into a user role and then sending notifications just to that user role.
You’ll probably need to set this up in code to automatically add the necessary users to a user role. You may also need a plugin to allow you to specify multiple user roles.

    Does this help?
