Multi Directory Search Not the Same

    WordPress v6.3.1 Directorist v7.7.2

    Using Multi Directory option. Cannot figure out why I cannot have the same search parameters in the additional directory as I have in the original? See photos.

    Above is original directory search – Below is the ‘add-on’ directory search

    and again, the ‘more filters’ is also greatly different between the two as seen below.

    Please navigate to Directory listings > Directory builder > Select a directory type > Search Form and arrange the field on the search form template – https://prnt.sc/6cdY4RRBL84k
    You can make the form similar to the other directory type or make it different from here.

    Well that’s what would seem to be the route but it doesn’t work that way. Let me explain further.

    I started with a single directory and then after adding approx 50 items decided I wanted to try Multi Directory. I enabled Multi Directory, then went to Directory Builder and hit ‘Create New Directory Type’ where I created a directory called ‘Services’. Below is the Services Directory and ‘all’ its ‘search form’ options!

    Now, to further add, I also exported the original directory JSON file and then did an import for a new directory. That directory had ALL the search fields available since it was a clone of the default directory that is enabled when installing the plugin.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The fields that have been added to your newly created directory are already been showing in the search form as you have shown in the screenshot. However, in your second directory category, and location field might be missing the Add listing form and this is why, they are not available in the search form. The radius search will be shown once the location field is added to the search form.
