More info about plugin?

I’m a database guy. I’ve looked at the code. I understand what you’re doing in DB terms but not what you’re doing with this specifically in WordPress.

Can you please provide some examples of scenarios where you’ve been using this?
What is your typical workflow? : We want to relate posts > We add relations via a metabox > “this” is how we use the relations later.
Are post relations getting you better performance with queries for related posts? I’m thinking you are using this for that and other purposes.

In summary, I’m hoping you can explain why this exists and how its used so that I and others can finally understand and perhaps use it. 🙂
