Hi, still testing and all is well except one thing: the mobile horizontal swipe isn’t working. The only way that works to flip through the slides is by selecting the left/right buttons.

I am using Android Chrome 69.0.3497.100 on Android 6.0.1 on an LG. No problem swiping generally, just on my slider.

I’m using the version of Smart Slider with the Maximize/Restore Down fix provided recently in my previous thread.

    Thanks!

    Hi @warnerta!

You cannot swipe on Youtube videos, because touching the video in any way has a different action and swiping on an embedded Youtube video won’t allow the swiping action to happen, but the video related touching happens.

In the free version what you could do for example is in canvas editing mode:

you could put down a Heading layer:

    with a:

character and with a lot of padding:

(maybe add a background color too, just to see where you are adjusting it) and you could put it into the sides of your video. This way if the user touches the sides, he would be able to swipe, but in the center, where the play button is, they could click on the video to start.

    Hi Gabor,

I see what you mean about the conflict between swiping videos and playing/pausing them. I’ve used the approach you suggested, with 4 heading layers covering the tops and sides that can be swiped, leaving a central area where the video can be started/paused. It works very well.

Many thanks, you’ve been very quick and helpful.
