Missing transition between old and new

    I have used your plugin for many years, appreciating the ability to schedule backups.
    But this new version, I honestly don’t understand it… 😳

    It doesn’t feel like the same plugin to me.
    It seems to me that you have not made a proper transition between the old but working one and the new one which is too different…

    Thank you for your honest feedback and for being a longtime user of our plugin. We understand that the new version feels quite different, and we’re sorry for any frustration this has caused.

    On that note, we’d like to mention that we’ve already made several adjustments after the release of v5, and have reintroduced various features such as custom scheduling, which we will further fine tune as we go. We certainly hear your feedback and are working hard on making improvements to BackWPup.

    And while we’re working on all those improvements, you can safely roll back to the previous version if that works better for you. You can download 4.1.7 from  here.
