Missing sidebar on Lessons template/pages

I am testing out LifterLMS on Local for possible integration on new WordPress site. So far, the only issue which is huge for me is that the template used for Lessons are not displaying sidebars even though sidebar is displayed on the courses page. I have followed all suggestions in your resource page to assign sidebar to courses and lessons but only the courses are showing the sidebar, meaning I am missing progress bar and course syllabus on lesson pages.I know I can add these as shortcake directly on each lesson page, but that will be unnecessarily cumbersome/inefficient to add and maintain.

I reached out to the theme developers and they are pointing me back to LifterLMS. The theme I am using for my existing site is the University UoC theme purchased from envato themeforest.
