Still getting the same error after updating the plugin.
I have this same error. URL:
I have 2 sites, one pass setup without error and what is strange that this sites have a similar configuration (plugins, theme etc).
@painlesshosting Browser extensions, VPN’s, hosting environments or other issues can impact setup, by blocking or restricting REST API requests. Can you check with your web host and see if ModSecurity is active, if so you can temporarily disabled it during Site Kit setup. You can also check that your WP REST API is enabled by adding the following to the end of your website address:
/?rest_route=/@beherit Can you open a new support ticket and we can hopefully assist. Very strange indeed about your sites, please add as much context to your support ticket for us to investigate.
@painlesshosting after review, we discovered your issue is a bug. Please follow the issue on Github to check its status. I will provide an update when it is resolved.
I’m having this same issue, how do I fix it?
An update from my side with this error:
missing parameter: ‘verification_nonce’I removed all plugins, reinstalled Site Kit plugin only, went through the setup process, and it worked. I was able to successfully install the Site Kit plugin.
After that I reinstalled each of my other plugins one by one, and checking one at the time that they were working correctly when running together.
From my side, issue was solved. Thanks for the update @wasabi77 ! Glad you resolved it. @dropitlikeitshollz we should have a fix soon. I’ll update the thread when it’s out. Just a reminder that we encourage opening a new topic per forum guidelines. You can also search for and follow an existing topic that is the same as your issue in case it as been or will be resolved.

We have just released a new version 1.0.2. Could you please update and let me know if this resolves the issue? Thank you!
I resolved issue by creating “Domain Service” in Search Console for my website.
thanks for the update @beherit ! @painlesshosting I am checking if the issue has been resolved you? If so, send a reply to let me know and I will update your support topic accordingly.
@painlesshosting we’ve just released version 1.1.0 and advise updating. If your issue is resolved, update your topic status or reply with any further information.
@painlesshosting Just following up with you in relation to your previous issue with Site Kit setup. We have made some significant upgrades to the plugin as of version 1.1.2.
Can you check and see if setup completes for you after upgrading? As an early Site Kit user we value your input, please let me know if the latest update works, and if not I can assist further.
The Google Site kit appears to be functioning properly. It seemed to function properly in all the ways I expected it to. I made it all the way to getting denied by Google AdSense. That isn’t an issue with Google Site Kit though.
On that note, an incredible feature for Google Site Kit would be to tell publishers the reason for the denial. Or even to include some kind of checklist or suggestions. In my beginner experience, I am completely lost as to why I can’t use Google AdSense.
@karstenholmes Thats for the update. Good to know you can setup.
In relation to the AdSense module we are working on some improvements, and have some open GitHub issues we are prioritising, but totally agreed, improvements in the information for users would be beneficial.
