Missing host-meta

I can see in my webserver logs a bunch of 404 errors for /.well-known/host-meta
Almost all of these requests are from Friendica servers, so I assume they use this for something.

The old version of WebFinger used host-meta. I assume, that Friendica is trying to check both versions, to be backwards compatible. If you do not see any problems, that Friendica users can’t follow your blog for example, I wouldn’t change anything. If you want to also support the “legacy stack”, you can install the host-meta and webfinger plugin:
