I found another thread discussing this issue but comments are closed.

“If you want to use the content of another page here, you can locate the “Group” block in the right column of theme layout, directly above the “Footer” template part, remove it, and add a “Content” block in its place. Make sure to set it to “Inner blocks use content width” in the right settings sidebar.”
But I’m not sure where this Group block in the theme layout is?
I don’t see it under Design > Templates. I see a Templates > “Front Page.” Is this what I should edit? And I’m not sure what you mean by remove it and add a content block. I am so sorry.
Thank you
I figured how to copy and past from my original home page onto the front page template. The trouble is, the homepage template is much wider text box area than all the other pages. I am not sure why. This was before I pasted my content in there. I tried to replicate the page outline contents from the Pages. But I still can’t figure out how to set up my homepage that is currently under Pages to the Front Page template.
Thank you for any help!

OK, So I’ve followed the instructions on a different thread and managed to get my homepage to appear on the front page. But when I save and open the page, it looses the formatting I had created and jumbles the blocks together without the right spacing.
Hi @erinmidwife,
Sorry for the late reply. Were you able to resolve the issue? If not, can you post a link to the site?
