Hi, I updated to the latest version a week or so ago, and have just spotted that the plug-in is disabled and I have the following error at the top of my plug-ins screen:

The plugin enable-contributor-uploads/functions.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

    Details in case they help…
    WordPress version 6.9.1
Active theme: Colinear Child (version 1.0.0)
Current plugin: Admin Menu Editor (version 1.15)
    PHP version 8.3.30

    Hi @iainpurdie,

We’re running this on a few client sites and are not seeing that issue with the latest version. Would you please be able to delete the plugin and then try reinstalling it to see if that solves your issue?

    Thanks!

    Hi @iainpurdie,
This file was updated seven years ago with version 1.1, to meet plugin file naming requirements. You must have been running the original version 1 of the plugin.

You can do as @alh0319 suggest and that will work. You can also just reactive the plugin and it should work.

Here is the commit where this changed:

Thanks both. I did just click “Activate” again and… it worked. Weird. Regardless, sorted!
