I still work with Version 13.3.7 – Because there were various errors with new update 13.3.8.1, as you can read here … so what exactly do you want to tell me ?

The product description (<g:description>), is not pulling description data to my feeds. In google merchant centre, it’s showing as blank and I have to fill in the details manually. In the feed itself, a couple of products has the description attribute, while all the rest does not.
I tried with another feed plugin (CTX feed) and there’s no issue there.
I have the same problem with that version, the field in (<g:description>), in my products that have variants the description does not appear in the xml
Same issue here but with Facebook Feed.

For variable products, please use the Parent Product Description mappable fields and see if that works.

Somehow it doesn’t pull the data from the product description for the Facebook Feed. The field mapping is set but in the feed the product description part is missing (nothing between the Condition and Image link).
What can cause this?

Can you run some basic debug? I suspect your theme, or a 3rd party plugin is not using the default Woocommerce description fields so it’s not being pulled properly.
Basic debug can be done by only having Woocommerce, Storefront theme and Product Feed Pro
Thanks for the reply. After choosing another field (form AFC) instead of the main product desciption the data is coming through.
Everything was working fine, until after the last update. I am now using CTX feed and no problems.

Same here, on all websites using this plugin the description is not appearing in the XML.Many different websites, different themes, servers, impossible to debug all. Tried many things with no luck.
Is there any plan to solve this ?
