Menu home link current class

I’ve currently got the theme set up in the same way as your demo (using the importer) – http://demos.famethemes.com/screenr/

I’ve added a ‘Home’ link to the menu by adding a custom menu item with the url of my homepage anchored to the #page div (to get the link to scroll to the top of the page).

The only problem with this is that it doesn’t add the current-menu-item class when the ‘Home’ menu item is clicked on. How would I go about ensuring that is the case?
