I just installed the plugin, created a single access level, and added only one member (myself) to it, but I don’t see anyone listed under “members” (an empty list), even though I see “1 member” on the right.
If I try to add myself as a member again (I’m still listed among the members I can add), I still don’t see any members listed, but I see “2 members” on the right.
The plugin seems to work properly (only members who should be listed have access to protected pages). The only problem is that the members list is empty, so I can’t manage it.
The same thing happens if members are added through the standard WordPress user management.
Of course, I have no way to remove members from the access level; to do so, I have to remove the entire access level.
I’m not very experienced, but I’m not a beginner either: how can I solve this annoying problem?

    Thank you for reporting this.

Would it be possible to provide the names of all other active plugins on your site? I suspect there may be something that’s interfering with the database queries used to fetch members.

Thanks Joakim @intoxstudio for your reply, and sorry for the delay, but I’m having some other issues with the site that require attention, and I’m always short on time.

I should point out that nothing has changed in the meantime, and the situation is still the same, and I agree that something is interfering with the database queries used to select group members.

Any suggestions are welcome, of course. The problem seems trivial, but it’s extremely annoying, especially because now, after just a month and with only 5 users, I’m already having a hard time remembering who’s in which group, and I have no way to ask the plugin. Even a simple indication of which tables to look at would be helpful…

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

The problem seems to have been solved with the update to version 2.8 and in fact the changelog states:

[fixed] prevent other plugins from erroneously manipulating membership queries

    Thank you all.
