Maximum Image Width

    I have this on a site and set the Maximum Image Width to 1920px, but when larger images are uploaded, they stay the same size they were before being uploaded. Is there anything I should be checking?

    Hello @jaypeg,

    I have just tested the Maximum Image Width functionality on the latest version of the plugin and it is working properly on my end.

    Please check if there is another plugin installed on your application that overrides this option. Also, you can check for some filters added manually that can also interfere with the image resizing.

    Thank you Delyan. I found that it’s actually something in the Theme, so I’ll check with the Theme Developers.

    Actually, if I can ask a question related. Will the sizing work on images already uploaded or is it only when an image is being uploaded?

    Hello @jaypeg,

    The Maximum Image Width works for newly uploaded images. It won’t change the resolution on already uploaded ones.
