My domain hoster informed me that due to a scan a malware file was found: “wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/vendor/rosell-dk/exec-with-fallback/src/ExecWithFallback.php”

“A routine virus scan found files containing malicious code in your account. To protect your website visitors, we have renamed and blocked these files where possible. If the options listed here are not possible, you can clear your web space. “(Jump to log)”

    Same happened to me.

    Same.

And also the same files (ExecWithFallback.php) are the reason. Could someone in charge please confirm this, possibly examine it and show a solution?

    Thanks in advance!

Same here, flagged by Hosting All-Inkl on a few client sites.
I assume it’s a false positive, ran a virus scan and nothing came up.

    @ WP Optimize, please confirm.

Just received the answer from all-inkl.com:

“Apparently, at least one malware found in your account is a so-called “false positive”, with other words a false alarm from the scanner. Locked and renamed files will be undone by the system and the file will be removed from the log in the “Action Center”.”

    Alert terminated for me.

Same here. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to resolve this issue. Anyway, it’s solved.
