    Hello,

I recently started having many images fail to load — but not all. I’m seeing the problem across multiple sites today.

If I open the image URL, I receive the error “malformed URL.” All of the images with this error have %2Ch=716 (where 716 varies between images) appended after the w= param. Removing this parameter from the URL causes the image to load in the browser, but I haven’t found a way to prevent it while the images are embedded on the site.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

EDIT: After thinking through this, %2C is of course the comma that should be in the URL before the height parameter, but it is now encoded. What I’m not sure of is if the plugin just recently started encoding the URL, if Cloudflare stopped accepting the encoded URL, or if WordPress changed their URL escaping to encode commas. I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict because I have it happening on so many different sites, unless it’s a very widely used plugin.

    Thanks,

    Tim
