Mail Headers
-
After testing the free version I now installed the paid enterprise version
A remark on the header
List-Subscribe: <mailto:admin@example.com?subject=subscribe>
List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:admin@anpa.onl?subject=unsubscribe>would be more useful as
List-Subscribe: <mailto:admin@example.com?subject=subscribe LIST NAME>List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:admin@anpa.onl?subject=unsubscribe LIST NAME>because now we know which list the recipient wants to unsubscribe from.
My email client, if it finds the unsubscribe header, inserts a unsubscribe message as the first line and if clicked and confirmed sends an empty email to admin@example.com with the subject line as defined above.
Are these List-headers really necessary? They seem to be a legacy of Mailman.
Who looks at the mail headers for List-Post and List-Help?
