    Hi there,

I’m using Plugin Organizer for a few weeks now, and I’ve noticed an issue that has been occurring for the last 2-3 updates and for me since the beginning. Every time the plugin is updated, the previously applied plugin order is lost, and I have to reconfigure it manually.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Set up a custom plugin order in Plugin Organizer.
    2. Save the order and verify that it is applied.
    3. Update Plugin Organizer to the latest version.
    4. Check the plugin order – it has been reset or lost.

    Expected behavior:
The configured plugin order should persist after updates.

    Actual behavior:
The plugin order is lost, requiring manual reconfiguration after each update.

    Environment:

    • WordPress Version: 6.7.2
    • Plugin Organizer Version: 10.2
    • PHP Version: 8.3.16

Please let me know if you need additional information to diagnose the issue.

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards

I think I may have fixed it. WordPress automatically reset the load order when plugins are activated/deactivated. I’m wondering if that was happening during the update. I added code to reset the order back to what you have saved if that happens. It might happen again since you will have the old code in place when you update this time. Unless you manually update it by placing the new version in your plugins directory with FTP. Version 10.2.2 has the fix. Hopefully that works.
