  • Hi,
    EM User here. 🙂

Lots of users are having problems getting Google Maps to work. Mainly, because Google made it rather complicated: you now need to register 5 different API keys (see the EM documentation for full details).

You could also try my very easy-to-use replacement: https://wordpress.org/plugins/stonehenge-em-osm/

    😉

    Hello,

Have you followed this two documentations for google maps? This would help you setup the needed APIs for google maps.
    1. https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/google-maps/
    2. https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/google-maps/api-key/

Unless the APIs or their procedures have changed again in the last couple of days, I don’t think this is due to APIs, as I have the various keys and have confirmed they work, and entered locations as recently as a week ago.

And by the way, replacing with the OSM plugin didn’t work either, so it looks like EM is not instigating the search (though it does look like a nice plugin — does it do satellite imagery?? I need that.)

Looks like while Maps API was the only thing that was needed to associate with the key five days ago, now they require also enabling and associating Geocoding API and Geolocation API. Did so and now location map works.

    Hello,

Can We perhaps know what you have inputted on the http referrers? Are you also using Divi? If you’re using Divi, They have a sepate documentation on how to use Google Maps.

    Hi,

Been having a really difficult time with this. But now I finally did get the map to pop up when entering the location, then it immediately disappears.
