    Hi, Andrea.

    Is it possible to have a search working alongside GEO my WP with a proximity of say a distance of a 10 mile radius? So it picks up the users location and brings back results of users which fall within that radius? (i have GEO my WP addons).

    If so, Could the search automatically use a users preference from their profile.

    Say they are looking for these member types. age range etc. without the user having to put these options in for themselves?

    Basically I’m looking to create a nearby button for users to press and the search looks at their preferences and displays the results accordingly.

    Hi Nick,

    That’s an interesting feature, but unfortunately it’s not yet available in BP Profile Search.

    The closest thing your users can do is to save their typical searches and recall them later.

    To do that, they can bookmark their search results in their browser and, when they recall the bookmarked results, the saved search is run again so the results are always updated.

    Please note that you have to select “GET” as the “Form Method” of your search form, otherwise the bookmarks won’t work as expected.
