Hi all connexion from make.com with plugin are now rejected which is strange

on proxycheck I see nothing rejected, so I assume could be a bug.

    more than 10 sites concerned

    Hello,

Apologies for this, it is possible that make.com is being classified as a hosting provider which may be being marked as proxy detected. proxycheck.io’s v3 has many different types and more than one can be defined at the same time. May I ask what you see for this in the Action Log in the PVB Settings?

I am investigating this further and will provide update on this shortly.

    Kind Regards

Hi i found out something, their ips are returned with score 33, before it was working, I setuped score 34 and it works.. might have been a change there

Appreciate your response, that makes sense! It seems that the make.com IP(s) risk score has increased as far as the API is concerned, so the plugin will be doing as it is supposed to and rejecting connections based on your risk score thresholds.

Some further improvements around this area will be looked into.

might but with plugin not udpated, works, after update blocking…

with different sites at the same time working with different versions, some works, some not..

    Hello Fred,

An update has been released that should allow you to control this more specifically and the hosting and web scraper types will be off by default in the settings.

The risk score in your case is the likely cause as it’s probably fluctuating up and down so you will see varying results but this may have been combined with the types determined by proxycheck.io in 3.5.0

Please let me know if it improves now.

    Kind Regards,

hi thanks for your answer, I didn’t see yet any update

did you add any option in the plugin ? or it is internal rules update ?

Hi, yes in 3.5.2 it should be in PVB Settings > Detection Types, I would recommend only the types Detect Proxies, Compromised Server IPs and Tor IPs are turned on, and optionally Detect VPNs if you are intending to also detect those.

got it, but removing VPNs is an issue.. I setuped score at 34 then it works, usually real vpns have higher scores… 33 is usual amazon cloud and others
