• My client’s site keeps going down and displaying the contents of wp-config.php instead of the home page. The hosting provider (ukservers) is putting it down to ithemes corrupting the wp-config.php file.

I have tried to switch off ithemes writing to wp-config in config but get the following error:

A validation function for global received data that has an entry for infinitedps_compatibility when no such entry exists.
A validation function for global received data that has an entry for infinitedps_compatibility when no such entry exists.
The settings could not be saved. Please correct the errors above and try again.

Any ideas please? The host is running php 5.6.

    Thanks 🙂

    Hmm, interesting case.

Seems to be a validation error for saving data in the Global Settings module. Which makes sense because that’s where you can disable the Write to Files setting.

The error indicates infinitedps_compatibility is not a valid ‘global’ settings entry. Which is correct because it should be infinitewp_compatibility.
Note the Add InfiniteWP Compatibility setting will only display in the Global Settings module if you have the InfiniteWP plugin installed.

Not sure where the infinitedps_compatibility variant comes from …
