    I’m using an older version of MooWoodle and would like to upgrade the the latest. But I’m confused: the version of MooWoodle I’m running requires a WP plugin AND a separate Moodle plugin. Is this still the case? Are there 2 plugins required – one for WP and one for Moodle?

    I’ve read the documentation and there’s no mention of a Moodle plugin but in the Moodle Configuration section you’re supposed to add the function

    auth_moowoodle_user_sync_get_all_users_data

    to the MooWoodle external service. But that function is not part of Moodle core, so how is it defined in the absence of a Moodle plugin??

    Hi @joantu234, Thank you for reaching out.

    Our MooWoodle is a WordPress plugin, and no additional Moodle plugin is required for it to function. Simply follow our documentation, and you’ll be ready to go : https://dualcube.com/docs/moowoodle-set-up-guide/

    Please note that the Moodle plugin is necessary for MooWoodle Pro only. Regarding the auth_moowoodle_user_sync_get_all_users_data function, it is also available exclusively under MooWoodle Pro.

    If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

    Thank you for your clear reply. However …

    I have now installed the latest version of MooWoodle in WP and the Test Connection feature fails with the following error message, suggesting that the free version of MooWoodle in WP is expecting the premium feature in Moodle that you described in your previous reply:

    28/11/2023 09:44:40:

    It seems that certain Moodle external web service functions are not configured correctly.

    The missing functions following:{“9″:”auth_moowoodle_user_sync_get_all_users_data”}

    Hello @joantu234, we’re sorry to hear about the issue you encountered.

    We’ve released an update today, so please make sure to update the plugin. Also, be sure to add our new function ‘core_webservice_get_site_info’ for seamless connectivity between Moodle and WordPress.
