    Hi,
I get an invalid plugin header error when trying to activate the plugin. I added the Plugin Uri and that made it work however it then triggers a couple of fatal errors:

Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in
    /wp-content/plugins/secure-trading-gateway-for-woocommerce/classes/class-wc-st-gateway.php on line 1510

Fatal error: Class declarations may not be nested in
    /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/log-handlers/class-wc-log-handler-file.php on line 19

    Hi Oliver,

We’ve just checked this on a fresh install and we weren’t able to replicate that error.

This sounds like it could be a conflict with another plugin possibly. Can also you please confirm for us what version of WP you’re running?

    Thanks

    Sure that’s 5.0.3
    and woocommerce 3.5.3

    Thank you

    Hi,

May I suggest you update to the latest version of WooCommerce (3.5.4), deactivate the plugin and try reactivating?

If it’s still not working for you, please try deactivating other plugins to see whether it’s a plugin conflict.

    Thanks

    Hi,
sooo I updated php and managed to get it installed and not breaking however, none of the settings are saving.

I’ve tried the disabling plugins approach, updated woocommece and enabled debugging. The plugin isn’t causing any errors but it’s not saving.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

Hmm, very strange. We’ve not come across that error before but will certainly take a look where possible.

Are you working on a dev environment or is this a live site? If on dev, I’d suggest sharing your login details with me privately so I can take a look on your install as we’ve not been able to replicate this.

    Thanks,

    Hi Oliver,

Sorry it looks like they haven’t come through. When did you send them?

Could you try again please, to support@illustrate.digital

Note – error with saving was due to missing user fields at client end. Solved through direct email contact.
