As a test – Installed Multiple Post Passwords to dsell.aafords.com. Changed page https://dsell.aafords.com/sell-aafords-about/ Published status to Password protected with “ncw” as the password. Added “ham” and “spabout” to the Additional Passwords each on a separate line. Closed the website. For Firefox, cleared browsing data and cookies. Started the website. The “ham” and “spabout” in to the Additional Passwords are flagged as “Invalid password.” on the screen to enter the Password. The “ncw” password allows the page to open.

Using WordPress 6.8.3 and PHP 8.4.7 using a Twenty Twelve Child theme.

I have another site which was also setup for Multiple Post Passwords on about twelve pages. Each page was working with additional passwords of about 200 passwords per page. This sites stopped working. It could have been when I changed to PHP 8.4.7 but I don’t know that for sure. And, I cannot go back to a prior PHP according to my iPage host.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I changed the PHP version for my site back to 7.4 and now the Multiple Post Passwords plugin works. I have 288 passwords in the Additional passwords and used some from both ends. Worked as expected.

Who to request to get the plugin updated to work using PHP 8.4?

Hi @neil-wilson and thanks for your report!

I´ll try to fix that as soon as I can, but please understand that this is a non-profit plugin and as I´m quite busy at the moment it has not the highest priority right now.

Keep an eye open for an update to come

    Thanks Andreas,

I will keep my site using PHP version 7.4 until I see an update.

    Hi @neil-wilson ,

I tested this issue with php-8.4.16 and for me it all worked totally fine.

My web host was giving me a warning to update my PHP version. I ended up importing my club members as users (using a plugin) and then use the Members plugin to let club members login access pages based on users types rather than having password protecting pages.
