Hello @bheem
Thank you for contacting the support.
Can you please provide us with the steps to reproduce it?
It is adding normally here on our setup:
https://i.rankmath.com/7dCxvdIf you are also following what we did in the screencast, then it’s most probably a conflict coming from one of the plugins or the theme you are using. To determine the culprit, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Hello,
Assuming you are using the latest version of the plugin and the problem is solved, we are closing this topic.
If that is not the case, please feel free to open a new topic or reply to this one and we would be more than happy to assist.
Thank you.
Hi, the issue us with genesis themes we are using. Does it mean we have to change the theme to use you plugin. If the link is deleted, we still get such broken links (_wp_link_placeholder)
Any help?
regardsHello @bheem
Sorry for the ignorance but can you please add some more details to your question?

Hi, please see the screenshot in url below. When I try to make an internal link in the 3rd line for the word ‘environmental’, there is a link placed but with another extra one appearing at the start of the post.
If I delete the link at the starting point, the main internal link too goes off.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1thLgvG4ha6SD4Qth_CLnFwvbLKGwJb6v/view?usp=drivesdk
Hello @bheem
Can you please confirm if you are using the Classic Editor plugin so we can try to reproduce on our end?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Can you please follow this troubleshooting and let us know if you find any conflicting plugin/theme?

Hi, i did trouble shooting even before i started this thread. But thing is i even removed genesis theme as i thought it was the problem as none of the plugins has conflict. But again even with generatepress theme too these errors occur. Seems i have to use free theme to run your plugin.
Hello @bheem
As we showed in the first video screencast, that option is working correctly with the Rank Math plugin and WordPress’s default set up.
Maybe you can try locally or with a fresh installation and then start adding plugins/themes to it to test?
It has to be a conflict but the themes you mentioned are working correctly as well with the Rank Math plugin.
Thank you.
Hi, I noticed that the problem appears with Gutenberg editor but not when i disable it using the classic plugin.
Please see that there is a solution.
Hello @bheem
It is working fine in the Block Editor as well.
Please follow this guide to confirm if there are any conflicting plugins or the theme you are using:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Just activate the Rank Math plugin with the default theme and then test.
Please stay advised that your users won’t notice any difference on your website. This troubleshooting is only for the site admins.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
I tried again but still the problem persists. It disappears only with twenty twenty default theme.
But other SEO plugins like yoast, seopress have no issues with the same set of plugins and themes.

Hello @bheem
As shown here, the error is not happening with the theme you mentioned:
https://i.rankmath.com/e2hDjfCan you please install the health check plugin and then test?
Please share the screencast with us.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi, I have seen your screenshot and found a difference. I usually opt for a classic block while writing a new wordpress post within Gutenberg editor. So i find the issue.
In your screenshot you are using normal blocks.
