Installed multi currency plugin, couldn’t figure out how to tie them together, plugin doesn’t show up as payment method at the check out. What are the steps of using your plugin with multi-currency plugin?

    Hello cslak
This plugin does not require any configuration to operate in multi-currency mode. If the checkout is conducted in Bitcoin – it will work just fine.
We’ve tested with several multi-currency plugins (for example with Multi Currency for WooCommerce) – did not encounter any problems.

So, the steps would be: Install multi-currency plugin, configure it (depends on the plugin indeed), make sure the Bitcoin is one of the supported currencies – that’s it.

The only other thing I’d like to highlight: some of such plugins set two digits after decimal point by default for any currency, and for the Bitcoin you have to set it to 8 to operate with satoshi correctly.

    All the best

On the second thought WooCommerce Currency Switcher may be easier 🙂
    Some advices:
    1. Use fiat currency (like USD) as the primary, and Bitcoin as secondary currency, because some payment gateways (not us! 🙂 ) do not go through the list of available currencies, but pick the first one and reject to work if it is Bitcoin.
    2. Make sure you set 8 digits after decimal point for Bitcoin to operate with satochi.
    3. Use fixed prices, because automatic conversion often turns small USD amounts into 0 Bitcoins.
