Installation Error

Sorry to say I have an error message that I have failed to trace. Your temp.xml file did not load to my site and the path for it in the panel is in the root not in the uploads folder.

My site is installed as fernleafconsulting.co.uk/FLWP/ but after that is a standard set up (even that is really).

The site is hosted with Godaddy but I have not experienced any uplaod issues from their hosting before.

Could you help?

Hi Andrew, I’ve only just seen this. Basically the problem is as reported in the first few lines of the messages from SimpleXML

allow_furl_open is a parameter in your php.ini file
My apache config has
; Whether to allow the treatment of URLs (like http:// or ftp://) as files.
; http://php.net/allow-url-fopen
allow_url_fopen = On

I suggest you ask godaddy to alter this parameter for you.

Alternatively, as a workaround.

If you copy and paste the query below into your browser then the XML file you need will be returned.
You can save that file and use that.
