Make sure the header row of your CSV exactly matches the names (not the titles) of the fields you want to import. If you import a CSV with the wrong field names in the header, it will import a bunch of blank records.

I created the headers using the Manage Database Fields, then downloaded the blank csv ( I wanted to make sure the template wasnt the issue). I updated with 10 rows then uploaded/imported the file.
The import is successful but the data is not displayed.
Please could you let me know what step I may have missed.

Incorrect names in the CSV header is the most likely problem.
Try adding a test record to Participants Database using the “Add Participant” page in the plugin admin, then export it in a CSV from the List Participants page. The exported CSV will give you the correct format to use for your CSV.
Be sure to check the Manage Database Fields page to make sure all the fields you want to import have “CSV” checked so they will be included in the test export.
